Overview

A clinical web portal built in Angular was used mainly on desktop. Its users increasingly needed to work from phones and tablets.

Challenge

The portal had more than 218 component templates. The client required that no existing CSS class be removed, so every change had to be additive. A layout bug also left a visible gap on wide screens.

Approach

We worked through the templates systematically, adding responsive classes alongside the existing ones rather than rewriting components, and traced the wide-screen gap to its root cause in the global stylesheet.

Solution

Responsive layouts across the portal's component templates, delivered as additive CSS, plus a fix to the global layout width that caused the wide-screen gap.
